One factor that makes WESTWOOD so attractive to many besides the great value it possesses is definitely the convenience this community offers. Besides providing quick access to the highway for those who drive, WESTWOOD accommodates transit riders with convenient options. The West Coast Express is a commuter rail service that will link you into downtown Vancouver, arriving at the Waterfront Station. From WESTWOOD, there are two stations that offer this service, the Port Coquitlam Station and the Coquitlam Central Station. Fares for adults (13+) to and from downtown between these two stations are illustrated in this table below.

Concession fare is available for ages 5-13 and for high school students with a valid Go-Card. Children under 5 may ride for free.

The Port Coquitlam Station is approximately a 5 minute walk through the Traboulay PoCo Trails from WESTWOOD. These trails will take you right into downtown Port Coquitlam where you can hop on the train at the station. You can also board the C38 PRAIRIE bus going Eastbound on Kingsway Ave at Burleigh Ave and it will take you to the station. There are also 280 parking stalls available, 28 passenger drop off stalls, and 5 bike lockers for your convenience.

The Coquitlam Central Station is equipped with 580 parking stalls, 40 passenger drop off stalls, and 8 bike lockers. The service times for both stations to and from Downtown is illustrated below:

If you wish to travel via the skytrain, hop aboard the 169 BRAID STN bus going Southbound on Lougheed Hwy at Como Lake Ave. It will take you directly to Braid skytrain station where you can connect to other skytrain stations throughout Greater Vancouver. To get to Coquitlam Centre by bus, there are a few buses that will pick you up on Lougheed Hwy at Como Lake Ave going Northbound and take you to Coquitlam Central Station:
